Artist's Description

North Carolina is my mother's native state, and it brings me vivid memories. Hot summer days...cold sweet tea, sleepless nights, and catching fireflies in the thick summer evenings. The cotton fields are a favorite of mine..the fields white for harvest. I was so fascinated with this as a child. Sometimes my daddy would stop and let us get out of the car to pick a few sprigs of cotton.

About Susan Bradbury

Susan Bradbury

Susan Miller Bradbury is fine artist who resides in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in the Roanoke Valley. A long-time lover of the arts, she began her career after graduating from Radford University in 1986, with a BA specializing in Graphic arts. Now, she loves the medium of acrylics as well as oils and is on her way to expressing herself more and more through acrylic and oil...
